Those arrested from age nine to eleven show an increase from zero percent to three percent,but by the age of thirteen,five percent of Americans(1)had already been arrested.The trend continues a steady and rather steep continuous increase to the age of eighteen,at which point twenty-two percent of Americans(2)had experienced being arrested.Thereafter,the aggregate amount continues to increase,though at a slightly lower rate,so that by the age of twenty-three,thirty percent had been detained by police.By the age of twenty-five however,the accumulative figure had climbed a further three percent.
