Imagine that you have applied for a job. The company has invited you to come to their office for an interview. However, the office is located a couple of hours away in another town. Because of the distance, the company has also offered to interview you by phone instead. 

Which would you choose and why?

終于出工作相關(guān)的話題了，最近ETS估計也是發(fā)現(xiàn)出教育類的孩子隱私問題有點多，馬上來個工作話題，換一下出題口味。

其實工作類作為托福口語部分的小類，一般來說考得相對于教育話題，還是比較少；特別是那些還在讀初中和高中的托?？荚嚳忌鷣碚f，其實還是蠻吃虧的，畢竟我還沒有高中畢業(yè)，誰去考慮工作的事情呢。

不過，真正要上托?？紙觯€是要盡量多話題去有效準(zhǔn)備起來。

對于工作話題，Jeremy稍微整理了一下之前常考的5道題，大家可以在這道題的準(zhǔn)備之余，稍微多刷下：

1.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: When you submit your job application/resume, you should put your photo in it.
申請的時候，是否要放照片到簡歷上？

2. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is acceptable that someone use other’s influence to get a job.
是否可以用別人的影響力去找工作？

3. Imagine you have been offered two jobs. One pays a very high salary but requires you to work very long hours. The other one pays a lower salary but does not require you to work overtime. Which job would you prefer?
是選擇高工資且工時長的工作，還是選擇低工資且不需要加班的工作？

4.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to work in large companies than in the small ones.
是想在大公司還是小公司上班？

5.Suppose there are two companies. In one company, employees are given the freedom to solve problems in their own ways, without any help or directions. In the other company, employees can't try to solve problems in their own way. Instead, they have to follow company methods. Which of the two companies do you prefer to work in?

回到今天的這道題，其實在21年7月11日和18年11月24日其實都是考過的，所以不算是新題。

這道題雖然圍繞的是工作主題，不過基本的核心還是線上好還是線下好，延伸出來的話，可以延伸到上課的方式是選擇線上還是選擇線下，重要的會議是選擇線上還是線下進(jìn)行。

本質(zhì)上，還是在強(qiáng)調(diào)線上和線下兩種方式的優(yōu)缺點。

If I had to pick between going to the company's office for an interview or doing it over the phone, I'd definitely go for the in-person meeting.

First off, meeting in person lets you make a real connection with the interviewers. You can show your enthusiasm and professionalism not just with words, but also through body language and facial expressions. In a previous interview, I remember having a casual chat about shared interests, and that really helped create a positive vibe that I think played a big part in me getting the job.

Secondly, showing up in person shows you're serious about the job. It's like saying, "Hey, I'm really interested, and I'm willing to put in the effort." This can leave a lasting impression on the interviewers.
