1??抓取圖表關鍵信息
拿到折線圖,先聚焦標題,明確圖表呈現(xiàn)的數(shù)據(jù)內(nèi)容與時間跨度。比如 “1990 - 2020 年某城市人口數(shù)量變化”,年份和人口數(shù)量就是關鍵所在 同時,務必留意坐標軸單位,是 “thousands” 還是 “millions”,單位錯了,數(shù)據(jù)理解就全亂套啦。
    
2??巧妙開頭,贏在起點?
開頭可巧妙改寫題目,像 “The line graph illustrates the changes in the population of a certain city from 1990 to 2020”,用 “illustrate”“show”“depict” 替換 “describe”,瞬間提升表達檔次。
    
3??簡潔結尾,總結要點
結尾簡要概括圖表主要趨勢,如 “Overall, the population of the city showed an upward trend from 1990 to 2020, with some fluctuations in the middle”

折線圖寫作結構:
1.首段:改寫題目例如這個題目是: The graph below shows the average number of UK commuterstravelling each day by car, bus or train between 1970 and 2030.改寫就可以說: The line graph compares figures for daily travel by workers in the UKusing three different forms of transport over a period of 60 years.

2.概括段:概括圖中兩個關鍵特點(1.最高值 2.最低值)
(1)找到圖中的最高值并概括,以上圖為例:Itis clear thatthe caris by far themost popular means oftransport for UK commuters throughout the period shown.
(2)找到圖中的最低值(趨勢)并概括,以上圖為例:Also,whilethenumbersofpeople who use the car and train increase gradually, the number of bus users fallssteadily.

 

3.描述段 1:從起點(第一年)進行比較,找線條交點,例如:
(1)最高值展開:In 1970(起點時間),around5 million UKcommuters traveled bycar on a daily basis, while the bus and train were used by about 4 million and 2million people respectively.
(2)線條交點展開:Intheyear2000((交點時間),thenumber ofthose driving towork rose to 7 million and the number of commuting rail passengers reached 3million. However, there was a small drop of approximately 0.5 million in the numberof bus users.


4.描述段 2:描寫上升、下降、持平等趨勢,例如:
(1)展開描述上升趨勢:By2030,thenumberofpeople who commute by car isexpected to reach almost 9 million, and the number of train users is also predictedto rise, to nearly 5 million.
(2)展開描述下降趨勢:Bycontrast,buses are predicted to becomealess popularchoice,with only 3 million daily users.

每條線都需要進行描述
注意起始年份到終點年份之間的趨勢
不要單獨說一條線的數(shù)據(jù),而是對每條線的相關數(shù)據(jù)進行比較
